Every year countless numbers of people make the same New Years
Resolution to quit smoking. Unfortunately, very few fail to make the attempt last longer
than a few hours or a few days. This year can be different!
The Evanston Health Department is offering a free Nicotine Addiction
Seminar for people who are once again planning on quitting this New Years. People who will
benefit from the program are those who actually do quit and really want to make this quit
last through next New Years Eve and beyond. Coming in for a two hour program can really
help any recent quitter at making this quit last over the long-term.
Another group of people who will really benefit from this seminar are
people who attempt to quit but can't seem to make it. We can help you to understand what
went wrong with that attempt and how to make the next attempt have a much better chance of
success.
The last group of people who should consider attending are those who do
not even make a resolution to quit because they simply think that quitting is impossible.
In two hours we will be able to show participants that quitting is possible and help them
to understand why all of their past attempts failed. It was never that quitting was
impossible it was just that the techniques being used or the limited level of information
and understanding that these people had made quitting much more difficult than it ever
should have been.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the Evanston
Civic Center. Conducted by Joel Spitzer, the seminar is designed to help people understand
why they smoke, why they should stop, how to stop and, most importantly, how to stay free
from smoking forever. This program is free of charge. You will learn how to quit and stay
quit without having to buy any products or spend any money. You can start saving ALL
of your tobacco money from the day you quit smoking.
